Scope of Work
Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and Electrical Engineering scope for the relocation of the Secondary Clarifier Substation. The objective of the project was to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant transfer of operational infrastructure to a newly constructed substation, minimizing plant downtime and ensuring full integration with existing control systems.
Services Provided
Basic and Detailed Design:
Developed engineering layouts, design calculations, and integration drawings to support the new substation configuration.
Cable Engineering Deliverables:
Cable Schedules (C&I and Electrical)
Termination Schedules (C&I and Electrical)
All documentation aligned with Eskom’s design standards and Medupi project data structures.
Panel Orientation and Aisle Spacing Design:
Cable Racking Layout Design:
Engineered the racking system for C&I and power cabling to ensure separation, ease of maintenance, and compliance with IEC standards
